What if you were called a beast, an animal, a creature, a monster? How would you feel, what would you think?
But what are these things? These words are very much real and yet do we even know what exactly they are? If you were to close your eyes and imagine any one of these things, beast, an animal, a creature, a monster, what would you even see?
Does being called a monster make you evil and cruel? Or being called a creature makes you wild? Are all beasts merciless and all animals savage?
Ask any number of people what they see when they imagine these things only to find that many give the same type of answer, yet while so many others give an answer that is unlike any other.
Then what exactly are any of these things? Is there even really an answer? Yes, because we are all these things and more. We build nests and dens, dig caves and tunnels, we forage and we hunt, we isolate and congregate, basking in the sun and gazing at the moon, we are small yet tall and tall yet small looking up at stars as we reach to grab them.
We are every much as wolves as we are dogs, sparrows as we are hawks, seals as we are sharks, foxes as we are horses, deer as we are bears, lions as we are crabs, lizards as we are butterflies, wyrms as we are worms, dinosaurs as we are dragons.
We are as vast as the land, sea, and sky we live in, an ever spanning journey and adventure to explore. You do not need to know what to look for but instead know that there is more to find.
