Please
I beg you
Humbly here upon my knees
Help me to further fight the oppressor within myself
Who sees no hope in love
Nor reason for creation
Nor belief in divine gift
Help me to banish this thief forever
Let its reaching hands dissolve daily another inch further from my side
Allow me to gain the threshold of readiness
That I may accept the channel that I am
That I may accept that I can courageously walk the rest of my days
That I might open myself fully to Love
And not to oppress you with responsibility
I promise
To my single heart
To try and step further forth on my own
Devoid of ornamentation
Let me embrace love
Let me create
Let me channel
Let me not sit idle and die wondering
For there I will have absolutely banished myself
I ask you to help me as I readjust my sight
So that never again may I doubt my power, grace, beauty, contribution and experience
