I will not say Developing Nation
I will always say Third World
You want to pretend there is only One World
Your world, where basic needs are afterthoughts
I will not say Developing Nation
Not as long as the First World undermines development
You want to pretend they’re developing
You don’t want to admit what you do to them
I will not say Developing Nation
I refuse to insult the people who starve and die every day
You want to pretend you’re working on that
You keep asking them to wait a little longer
There is no such thing as a Developing Nation
I will choose honesty and accuracy over Political Correctness every day of my life
You will pretend to be a better person by living in a better, pretend world
You care nothing for the voices, the dignity, the lives of those outside your world
You’re already systematically enslaving and killing them
Do you really need to lie to them as well?
I will not ignore their suffering
I will not say Developing Nation
