my life doesn’t have a title yet by Amanda Condon
Read by Conner Arnold
words don’t flow as well
when my walls are up
and you are gone.
i can’t look in your eyes
because i will start to dream.
and if i dream,
hope will be conceived.
even though you are a mirror image
of the confidence and mental well being
i wish i had –
i cannot be like you.
i should not
want to be.
and yet — i do.
even though you are gone
my words flow once again
i am a dream
you are my hope
but it is not meant to be.
